Refunds & Cancellations

Important Notice

S.O.I.L is a donation-based platform operated by Prajaahita Foundation, a registered non-profit organization. All contributions made through our platform are considered donations towards social welfare and educational initiatives for children with disabilities.

Donation Policy

As per standard non-profit practices and Indian regulations, all donations are generally non-refundable. Once a donation is made and processed, it is immediately allocated to our programs and cannot be reversed.

Non-Refundable Donations

All donations made through our platform are considered final and non-refundable. By making a donation, you acknowledge that your contribution will be used for the programs and initiatives of S.O.I.L/Prajaahita Foundation and cannot be returned.

Exceptional Circumstances

While donations are generally non-refundable, we may consider refund requests in the following exceptional circumstances:

1. Technical Errors

If you were charged multiple times for the same donation due to a technical error on our platform. You must report this within 48 hours of the transaction with proof of duplicate charges.

2. Unauthorized Transactions

If your payment method was used without your authorization. You must file a report within 24 hours and provide a police complaint or bank fraud report.

3. Payment Gateway Failures

If your account was debited but the donation was not reflected in our system due to payment gateway failure. This must be reported within 7 days with transaction proof.

Refund Process

If your situation qualifies for a refund under our exceptional circumstances policy, follow these steps:

Contact Our Support Team

Email us at support@soil.org.in with your transaction details, including order ID, date, amount, and reason for refund request.

Provide Documentation

Submit all required documentation including transaction receipts, bank statements, or any other relevant proof supporting your refund request.

Review Process

Our team will review your request within 7-10 business days. We may contact you for additional information if needed.

Refund Processing

If approved, refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days to the original payment method. Bank processing times may vary.

Cancellation Policy

Before Payment Processing

If you wish to cancel a donation before the payment is processed, you may close the payment window. No charges will be applied to your account.

After Payment Processing

Once a donation payment has been successfully processed, it cannot be cancelled as the funds are immediately allocated to our programs. Please review your donation amount carefully before completing the transaction.

Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring donation, you may cancel future donations by contacting our support team at least 3 business days before the next scheduled payment. Already processed recurring donations cannot be refunded.

Tax Receipts and Refunds

Important: If you have received a tax receipt (80G certificate) for your donation and subsequently receive a refund, you are legally obligated to inform the Income Tax Department and not claim the tax deduction for that donation. Prajaahita Foundation will notify relevant authorities of refunded donations as required by law.

Payment Gateway Information

We use secure payment gateways (Cashfree and Razorpay) for processing donations. All payment disputes and refund timelines are also subject to the policies of these payment processors.

All transactions are encrypted and secure

We do not store your complete card details

Refunds are processed through the original payment method
